I've been trumped on regular, non-standby flights several times because of status. Particular during IRROPS. Have started as high as 1 or 2 then fall to 8 or 10 or even lower on some occasions.

Edit: just called Premier desk again, they said it's still completely booked and they aren't taking waitlist. (Or so they told me.)
