We just returned from an absolutely fantastic stay at the Peninsula Hong Kong (after visiting Amanoi in Vietnam). We were in a "Superior Harbour View Suite" with great views of HK Island. More importantly, we were treated exceptionally well. Had breakfast with the terrific GM and, afterwards, received a very detailed and thorough behind the scenes hotel tour with her. It was one of the highlights of our stay - seeing all the operations, etc. Everyone in the property seemed to know our names throughout our stay and we loved the decor in the rooms/suites. Use of the Clubman car with driver for 3 hours each day was invaluable as well (and was always available whenever we asked). We also booked the Rolls-Royce Transfer on arrival and that was great - they automatically include VIP Fast Track and meet you on the jetbridge upon deplaning. Makes for a very seamless arrival experience in an otherwise large HKG airport. Finally, the best experience, was being sent off to the airport upon departure in their 1934 vintage Rolls-Royce Phantom II - a once in a lifetime experience. I will be doing a full trip report, but had to chime in here for the time being.
