Any reason not to downgrade after upgrading (Reward Abuse Team issue?)
My wife was offered 100,000 to upgrade her no-fee card to the Surpass in March and did so. She was charged $25 for a pro-rated annual fee. Now she's into her anniversary date, so the $75 annual fee just hit the account. We can downgrade to the no-fee version without running afoul of Amex's reward abuse rules, can't we?
