Ha, yesterday I flew a tier point optimizing route (PHX-LAX-CLT-ATL), my bag didn't make the right connection at LAX, so it took a nonstop from LAX-ATL and arrived two hours before I did. But my bag would have only earned 80 TP instead of 220!
