Just to update.
My ticket was revenue with partner flights (AA numbers, CX metal).
At the airport, the agent printed two receipts:
One was my original fare.
The second receipt just showed the add-collect for one flight change I made.

Of course, the two receipts add together correctly to get the total amount I actually spent.
