Thought it worth sharing my experience in case its useful for anyone...
Travelling from CAI to BOM in October, am currently based in London so called the UK reservation line and have been re-routed via BEY. Seemed like the only options they were offering were via KWI or BEY to then pick up a Qatar flight. Luckily timings were nicely in sync for this route all be it with extra flying.
