I have the Bank of America upgrades expiring 7/31 (alas, should have given them away, but too late now) and am flying on 8/2 and 8/4. Worth trying to use them, or will the gate agent just laugh at me?

I've had really bad experience trying to use expired US Airways Club passes, so don't want to be stuck in the same situation.
