Be very careful and wary about this, we had 2 awards from Aeroplan in 2014, SQ, CAi to SIN in F & J. We had the PNR, etc. On arrival in CAI SQ said sorry buy 2 tickets as your tickets were not issued correctly by Aeroplan. It took 2 hours to get this resolved. Neither parties wanted to accept the blame.

On our return, SQ have us 20,000 miles in total for the inconvenience. No one wanted to pay the phone bill.

I had to call long distance from CAI to speak with AE and then let them speak to the SQ people in CAI. We boarded the plane 15 mins before departure, we were whisked through immigration and straight to the plane. Just incredible.
