I do like MR for avios with the transfer bonus right now.
Citi can do VS, as does MR. If you use VS for NH that is the best deal out there right now.
MR does Delta, which is actually pretty useful. Sometimes they have pretty good deals on short-hauls in the US, and their partner awards aren't bad.
Did you ever consider just buying Avianca Lifemiles for your US-EU tickets? UA has a lot of restrictions, like ticketing within 21 days means a huge surcharge, limited routing (you have to select what they give you, otherwise they charge you for 2 one-ways), and they have a devaluation coming up soon.
