Korean is a diamond in the rough, and there aren't too many other ways to get their points. Their old chart used to be good but the new one is through the roof for point requirements (though availability is superb). I was able to fly from Taiwan to Seoul to Singapore in one ticket before.
And they never have transfer bonuses, unlike Amex or Citi.
Everyone is different. My main use for UR is UA and WN. UA is easiest to find the US-EU J awards I want. I'm surprised you'd think Citi TYP are more valuable. How do you like to use TYP? I've used them to purchase via their portal but you can do the same with UR.
I do like MR for avios with the transfer bonus right now.
