Why do so many bloggers value UR points so highly? Transfer value? United, seriously? Hyatt may be ok but definitely isn't that good (if you have status you probably have points in their system anyway).
Korean is a diamond in the rough, and there aren't too many other ways to get their points. Their old chart used to be good but the new one is through the roof for point requirements (though availability is superb). I was able to fly from Taiwan to Seoul to Singapore in one ticket before.
And they never have transfer bonuses, unlike Amex or Citi.
