This is pretty much ridiculous and basically looks as if they were providing a "gift" of Globalist status for 2017 for those who'd achieved Diamond GP status based on 2016 stays without deeming it true Globalist status. Nevermind the verbiage on the website is contradictory.
Pretty bizarre and sad for a once great program. The lack of guidance , and clear understanding is certainly misguided. I just want to know the rules so I can make decisions ,and there seems to be no clear understanding of what 55 night qualification awards or doesn't award. Is the Hyatt rep on FlyerTalk defunct now?
