Yes, from my point of view the MIA routing will allow us an LHR departure and also a chance to try AA TATL Business. As my partner is more interested in just getting there with the minimum of fuss I suspect she'll prefer CW direct from LGW.

However, I am also pondering Bali from EDI on Qatar and I am going to throw that into the mix too - four sectors each worth 140TP are very tempting to me, and hopefully she might be so distracted by the lovely photos of spa's etc to not notice the longer travel times involved, albeit flying in rather luxurious surroundings. Fingers crossed!
