No, the promotional coupon box has nothing to do with Hertz gold! I was expressly told by the Hertz agent I've been dealing with for years, that she can't "offer" the cheaper A3 price. Still, I think I managed to beat the system!

I checked my reservation usinh the very long A3 number, and it appeared. I was then asked to log-in into my Hertz gold account, and the reservation number is automatically shortened. I'll check to see whether I'm right that I beat the system on Sunday by walking directly to the Hertz Gold pick-up area. Also, I want to see whether I'll get an upgrade.

PS I just realised doing a mock change of my reservation that the Hertz.com pre-filled promotional coupon box with a 6-dogit number starting with 7, which had nothing to do with either my M&B nor my Hertz account.
