Oradea is on the Hungarian-Romanian border and 5 hours by coach from Budapest.
Cluj 7 hours, Bucharest 8 hours, Constanta 20 hours.
You think it's inconceivable that something might happen along the way that would imply being stuck in the middle of nowhere for a good while, including possibly overnight?
You think that Flixbus, or whichever company she travelled with, would immediately hasten to send a replacement coach? Or provide child-safe accommodation in whichever village on either side of the border?
Of course the most likely outcome of the coach ride was a more or less on-time arrival.
Similarly the most likely outcome of her overnight stay in the hotel was that nothing at all would happen... which appears to be the case.
