just booked a two bed corner and was informed that

Please accept our sincere apologies and we would like to suggest 10,000 IHG Reward Points per stay instead of the upgrading benefit.
Not sure if they would still upgrade 2beds superior to Deluxe...

So I guess the Executive Suite is the highest room upgrade available as Deluxe Suite is out and only the 1 bedroom Residence rooms can still be upgraded for the Residence rooms? Has anyone have experience booking one of these excluded rooms as an Ambassador? Would you just get 10k points or nothing at all?
