All- I was certain I was eligible for the 144h TWOV in Shanghai (as a Canadian). I will now be using this itinerary LHR-DOH-PVG-HKG-DOH-BEG and I have put it in the TIMATIC (on United website) and entered China as the transit and HK as the destination, and it no longer references the Shanghai 144h TWOV. It only mentions that I am eligible if you set China as the destination rather than the transit. Any thoughts please, a bit nervous now as I leave on Friday and thought I was Okay.
I have also consulted the Qatar airlines website:
https://www.qatarairways.com/en/visa...uirements.html and included the same - China as transit and HK as destination and they also make no reference of the 144h TWOV.
