Upper House is definitely very good with upgrades. Feel free to drop me a PM/email etc if you need help. However, as was mentioned on here, t's not necessarily the most wheelchair friendly access place. The split level bathrooms don't help either in that regard.
+1. Chin managed to get us a upgrade to the Upper Suite on our last stay here, and the room was absolutely lovely. He did similar with some close family friends as well. Obviously nothing is guaranteed and YMMV, but we really enjoyed TUH and would have been similarly happy in the room category we booked. The bathrooms in particular are some of my favorite in the world.
