For location you can't beat the MO. It's not as flashy as some of the others but service is wonderful and you can walk to so many places easily.
MO is definitely on my radar. Perhaps in conjunction with IC, it should be a go.

Yes, but the difference is that the Upper House has less 'levels' of rooms. Booking a Studio 80 on a 4/3 deal will likely get you an upgrade to the Suite - not necessarily comparable to some of the others (albeit IC is certainly cheaper).
Additionally, it's also one of the largest 'entry level suites' in the city.
Ah, didn't think in that direction. My general experience with scoring upgrades at city hotels has been quite dismal.
