Standby is cleared just before boarding in my limited experience, is it an IDB if I turn up at t-35 and my seat just went to a non status Y passenger? I'm assuming AC wouldn't go on board and kick the guy off (assuming s/he has somehow made it onto a plane 35 mins before departure sitting in Zone 3-5).
If there are 101 people booked for 100 seats, and you're rebooked to a later flight, then you show up at the gate, what do you expect?
We're not talking about standby. We're talking about confirmed passengers who did not have seat assignments until you were offloaded by the system.
