I can't complain a bit about the MP upgrade situation. My advance upgrades using miles almost always are confirmed at time of booking, or clear in advance of the flight. My e-upgrades almost always clear within the 72-hour or pre-flight timeframe. And bottom line, I can't complain about E+....especially bulkhead or exit row. That keeps me loyal to United. Can't remember when the last time I had to fly in a standard economy 31" pitch seat. If they start taking out E+ on certain equipment/routes as American did, then my loyalty is up for grabs. And, the codeshare with US and the ability to pre-book exit row on US metal is the reason I gladly said goodbye to Delta.
