"Refund status: Closed" - now what?
Hello,
I had booked an Air Canada ticket for a flight within Canada. The flight was cancelled by Air Canada. It would have been the last flight of the day out of Windsor. I chose to take a refund instead of a rebooking for the next day.
That was back in July.
August 18, Air Canada sent me an email with access codes to a webpage, where I can see the "refund status". First, it sat as "open" with a date of August 18 for some weeks. At least since last week, it sits as "closed", still with a date of August 18.
No refund has arrived in my credit card account.
What is the point of that website? I fail to see how it gives me any helpful information.
Who do I contact to get my money back? There is no contact information on that webpage nor in the email I have received on August 18.
