I had a slightly odd seat selection issue on CityFlyer today. Checked in for LCY-EDI yesterday afternoon with seat 5D selected and issued in the boarding pass. At the same time I checked in for my return flight in 4D. Weirdly, MyFlights was showing the return seating as Confirmed but no seat allocation for the outbound.

At boarding on the outbound, I got the magic beep at the gate... only to be told that I'd been reallocated to 25D (literally the last row on the plane). I assumed that this was because the curtain had moved, but when I passed through the cabin at the end of the flight only the first 3 rows were CE. No idea what happened but something must have gone wrong with the seat selection on the outbound.

Seat selection on the return, which showed up fine in MyFlights, worked no problem.

Lesson learned: if something looks weird on MyFlights, there's probably something wrong!
