The planets must have been aligned for a few minutes this afternoon as I was able to get it to work on 5 separate tickets consecutively... before AA.com resumed the normal "Unavailable blah-blah-blah" page.

Update: At least for me, It seems to working on everything except ticketed award trips.
It worked fine multiple times just now for paid tickets and an award booking on Hold. Just not for ticketed awards.
