certainly they couldn't post at the same time as the flight on the first three segments before qualification...
You are correct. I did contact customer service via email. Here is the response:
"Thanks for your interest in the AAdvantageŽ Triple Miles promotion,
which ended on August 31, 2017. We know you are anxious to receive the
bonus associated with this offer. Rest assured, triple miles will post
in a lump sum to your AAdvantage account 6-8 weeks after August 31,
2017. If you have not seen the miles post by October 12th, please give
us a call at the number below."
I would venture to guess that there was more than one promotion going on and the miles that posted immediately with the flight miles was not the triple miles promo.
