Data point: flew ZNZ-NBO this morning and had totally forgotten about the ban and was literally carrying a plastic shopping bag in my hand through immigration and customs. Not a word was said.

Still, I felt horrible when I realized what I had done when I got to the hotel and don't recommend it.
