Imho its not worth to use points at this hotel unless the rates are through the roof. I'm seeing rates as low as $120 a night.
True. It only makes sense if the rate goes above 160 SGD, when you get a rate higher than 0.5 usd/point.
It used to be 10k (cat 2) a night and they sneakily increased it to 20k.
Definitely a great "opening offer" that I have taken advantage of.
I guess its the other way round though. For Singapore hotel prices, a 10k (cat 2) rate was unusually low for the property and location.
