Well we haven't booked the flights yet... are you saying we should aim for something that finishes before 29th of January... or starts after the 7th of feb (or at least around that?)

I def expected Queenstown area to be busy, wasn't as sure about Takaka...

We're very flexible so going to to book mainly around flight prices, but defintiely worth keeping NZ holidays in mind. Also, I am coming home (tentatively!!!) at the end of March, so I wouldn't want my mom to visit me sooo close to the end of my own trip!
