I have a JQ8 SIN to MEL Business Max fare which is changed by Jetstar to 3K operated SIN-DPS in Y cabin and then JQ DPS-MEL in J cabin with a 3 hour transit in DPS.
New e-ticket itinerary reissued by Jetstar shows fare basis as Business Max for the 3K SIN-DPS and obviously also Business Max for the DPS-MEL JQ sector.
Appears to have been allocated all the usual Business Max on board privileges even for the 3K SIN-DPS sector, e.g., Business Max luggage allowance, 2 x hand carry, free meal, comfort kit, upfront seat allocated free of charge.
My question is after the 3K flight, will it be credited as business (even though I will be seated in Y) or as Jetstar starter plus (Flexi Y)?
DPS-MEL in Business Max has the same earn rate as SIN-MEL in Business Max.
Has anyone been in this situation where due to flight schedule change, a Business Max sector has been changed to 2 sectors where the physical aircraft on one sector has only Y cabin but the e-ticket itinerary still indicates Business Max for both sectors?
Also BTW, what is the JAS lounge used by QF and JQ like in DPS?
