I was at this Hotel in July and I am perfectly happy with the location. MRT Little India is few minutes walk from the hotel. Very easy to access other location in Singapore and to travel to/from the airport. At the right price I would not hesitate to stay here again. If you prefer a full service hotel you may consider Hilton or Conrad, but if you need a base from where to explore the city the Hilton Garden inn is fine.
DT in Johor Bahru is a good hotel but personally I prefer not to commute.
