I just don't get it. The left hand really has no idea what the right hand is doing. This is absurd.
Who really suffers are Silvers flying 40k+ miles. No benefit other than the blue carpet. I waiver around 45-50k, mostly BVHK fares. Just a complete waste of time as things stand now. Too much time wasted checking EQM's, finding a CO routing that's priced competitively, arguing with corporate travel agent to book on co.com etc.
At my office we have about a dozen people that fly 10 to 15 k per year and 8 of them have got this offer, the other 4 just got silver elite packs.
I've noticed a serious change in UG's and attitude from CO personnel for me as a Gold in the last 3 months ( "sorry, everyone's Platinum these days"). Every plane now has multiple Plats...IN COACH.
Must be a better way, for CO and for me.
