This has been going on for over a year. Most people no longer buy them, even directly from Hyatt. I'm surprised you were able to find some to buy from resellers.

As well, unless you can prove to Hyatt you bought it directly from them, they are no longer replacing them.

It seems the algorithm was easy to figure out, and even those with pins are also being drained. The older ones did not have pins.
