Out of all the hotels bhrubin writes about I have stayed at only The Dock House, which in my opinion was excellent and visited Twelve Apostles. Twelve Apostles is more like a weekend getaway hotel from Cape Town and I would not recommend it to people who are not renting a car.

For people who are staying long, I would highly recommend renting a house on the hills of Camps Bay or Clifton Bay. Thats always what I did since I was staying for a month at a time, and had an amazing time.
