If you're willing to spend $1500 cash in addition to miles, I'd suggest not bothering with *A redemption and just buy a cash ticket on QR ex ARN/OSL/CPH.

They're about 2200 euros now, but they regularly dip below 2k. Even with positioning to Scandinavia, it should be about the same cash outlay as the LX+AZ combo, when you factor in the taxes/fees on awards.

_And_ you get to fly in business all the way there.

I bought CPH-AKL for ~1600E.
