We will be there in July but are there Sat night and Sunday night which will mean we avoid the noise from the construction. We are also staying in a room where the view is not really impacted. we will leave Monday morning early enough to not be impacted, but if staying on weekdays I would recommend contacting the hotel. We would not have planned to stay during the week as we don't know the noise the construction will create.
We left Ellerman House earlier today after a 4 night stay and had an absolute world class experience. The service at this hotel is amongst the best I've ever experienced, and it exists amongst not just a few members of staff, but all of them - although I will still reserve extra special praise for Vanessa, one of the Duty Managers. I would rank the service better than any Aman I've ever stayed, and closing competing with Iniala. The hotel is also wonderful, with excellent food, great facilities and, from our suite, some of my favourite views I've had the privilege to experience. I will definitely return.

Regarding the construction, it is still taking place and there is noise at times coming from it, but nothing severe. It did manage to ruin some of my sunset photos, but other than that, you can live with it.
