Regardless how other airlines are doing this, the main issue is CX is overgenerous to partners. Hence, the problem.

Everything they offer are standard OW benefits (F access, F check in). Btw, DM in MEL can use the F check in area, use the QF F lounge instead of their CX one. In LHR they can use the Galleries F and F Wing fast track if departing T5...
But last I check I never got priority for opups or a free buggy ride...
