Any clue when United actually cancels flights for something like this? I unfortunately booked travel into FLL for this weekend - scheduled to arrive into FLL late Friday night (LOL, I know, but was done well before Irma).
My return is from FLL on Sunday afternoon (clearly not happening due to forecasted 135 mph winds then). When I called the Premier Desk, they told me no refund can be issued until the flight actually cancels.
I saw that American proactively cancelled their entire MIA schedule starting Friday, but United has basically done nothing??? My concern is if I miss the inbound on Friday night, does my entire ticket become worthless?
