Google suggests the 2011 FAA requirements for pilots is 10 hours between flights, of which 8 hours must be for uninterrupted sleep. The WY interval is 9hrs55... so possible they may operate it with return crew. Unless jet lag is so brutal the crew need to sleep. Given it was your flight and mine, I suggest the crew seem pretty tired?
Highly doubt it, especially once you factor in immigration, collecting bags etc., not to mention MNL traffic! Also FAA regulations would not apply here as it's not the US so not sure what the requirements are but I'm quite certain the crew overnight in MNL.
As an aside, did you find a spa at the MCT lounge? I read on their website they offered complimentary 15 minute treatments but when I asked one of the staff they said there was no spa..
