This would be a relevant question had there been a sale fare, you had purchased at the sale price and then the price dropped below the sale fare after the sale was over. Don't get me wrong, you would still be told to get stuffed by SQ but in other jurisdictions (the EU specifically) this has happened and the airline has refunded the difference in some cases.
