I think the Polaris mods will go forward as presently scheduled. UA probably depreciates seating units on a 6-7 year schedule, so theoretically the capex can be recovered well within the expected service life of the airplane. It's the reason UA is still investing in full-gut interior mods for its oldest frames, the 1991-vintage 763ERs.
