2017-07-07: Did a booking, through the BA center (DUB office is shown as the TA), for the following routing:
- DUB > LHR on 2017-07-19, CE
- LHR > SEA on 2017-07-20, CW
- SEA > LHR on 2017-12-22, WTP
- LHR > MAD on 2017-12-23, ET

2017-07-19 & 20 Flew my first leg - first time in CW, was AWESOME

2017-07-25 The flight schedule was moved +- 30 mins for both return flights

2017-07-28 Upgraded my return flight SEA > LHR using avios to CW, 25k Avios + 0e of taxes (still confused as of why there were no more taxes to pay).

Now, for some work travel, I'll need to be in Europe before the 2017-12-22, so I want to move my return leg into the future.

My fare basis is EKN0S4C3 and the fare rules are DUB BA X/LON BA SEA E/XXX M0.00BA X/LON BA MAD M0.00NUC0.00END ROE0.891032

I know that I have a 180e change fee, but couple of questions on top of that:
  1. Can I move the date along with the end city? i.e. switch the LHR > MAD leg to a LHR > CDG leg? Is there any cost associated - or just paying the fare difference if any?
  2. Can I move my flight to any date, or do I need for example to keep it within the 350 days from my initial booking date? I was looking at moving it to 2018-09-06 whenever booking opens for that date.
  3. Now that I have upgraded my flight into CW, I guess I have to find U availability for the dates I want?
  4. If I don't find U availability for my new date, can I request "cancelling" my UuA, get back my 25k avios, and fly PE as originally planned?
  5. Apart from the 180e change fee, what do I compare on ExpertFlyer within the new fare basis and the old one to see how much more would I pay?
  6. (Can't blame me for trying) Any change I can get the 180e fee waived because of the change of schedule?

Thanks a lot!
The latest return date would be within a year from outbound flight so if i read right that was 19th jun 2017. This would mean that the latest you can travel would be 18th jun 2018 and you would need to change your booking before the current flights. You would be paying fare and tax difference and the change fee of 180 eur. Yes if theres no avios availability when you change you can get the avios back and travel in world traveller plus. As for the change fee I would expect to pay it!
