Mia was pointing out that for cards issued
prior to 21 May 2017, the travel credit is on a calendar year basis, i.e., after the December statement posts.
For cards obtained after 21 May 2017, the travel credit is on a cardmember anniversary date basis.
Using the word "annual" is applicable to both situations; it just depends upon what date the word "annual" is based.
