My rankings from top to bottom:

1) Residence Inn more selection and most likely to have real eggs and fresh fruit.

2) Springhill Suites (though only slight better than Fairfield Inn) - generally powdered eggs and less variety than Residence Inn.

3) Fairfield Inn - Very Similar to Springhill Suites but frequently a little less variety (e.g. less fruit options and/or less yogurt options).

4) Townplace Suites - Least variety and almost all processed food items. As a brand, I have had too many bad experience with TPS (tired, run down properties), so I tend to avoid them and have less experience with them.

With all of the above there are definitely variations among properties within a brand and also based on local regulations (E.g. some areas require all individual servings of fruit and even bread to be wrapped in plastic wrap). Even with the variations, Residence Inn tends to almost always be the best. YMMV....
