Climbing Mt. Fuji by car; a rare experience!
One of the huge advantages of visiting Japan multiple times is the increasing ability to understand how to get around and experience the country as few overseas travellers are fortunate enough to.
The attached photos were taken on Mt. Fuji at the 5th Station just above the 7,500 ft level after driving up the singing toll road from Kawaguchiko. Look it up on you-tube. The road has grooves which the car tyres "play" like a musical instrument as you drive over them!
