I think so. It's a fairly large intersection.
Also, if you are returning to LIR from the resort with a rental car and need to get gas, there is a gas station on 21 just past the turnoff to 253. So if coming from the resort, go right on 21 (left goes back to LIR) and the gas station will be on your right. I believe it's the only option to fill up before LIR.
