Indeed - I can see several points where you referred to it being a difficult case, this is not an easy case etc etc. My contention was it was pretty obvious what happened and pretty clear that the claimant would get paid.

Anyway for the avoidance of confusion I see this case as broadly similar, the poster will get paid as common sense will prevail BA will not attempt to defend it when escalated.
