Business travel is generally not fun. If it is occasional, like once a month for a few days and to reasonable places, it can be a little fun.

I met a repairman who was fixing something at work. He said he is on the road almost all the time. He rarely fixes things in San Francisco, his company's base. One day, STL, next day BNA, next day SAV, next day SYR is not uncommon. Or one week BDL, MSN, CVG, BUF. (some cities made up, some he mentioned). He doesn't have loyalty but is higher level elite for several airlines. He said that he would even fly Spirit Airlines if the flight left sooner than Delta or American. He didn't like traveling. Said the thrill wore off soon.

I have been to about 100 US airports but some of them have been more than 15 years ago because I no longer travel a lot, only a few times a year.
