Today I was trying to figure out how to enable auto-pay for my Consumer account and discovered that they shut down their old alert system (which IMO was basically useless) and seemingly merged it with BMO's existing one. It's a significant improvement, especially since you can now set it to email/text for all transactions over $1. ^ I haven't tried using the card yet since making the changes so I don't know how quickly the alerts arrive or their content.

Anyway, it might be worth taking a look right now, especially if you rely on the "payment due soon" emails (which will probably no longer arrive unless you take specific action).
