Also, it's not like contactless cards aren't completely unheard of here. Just rare.
My wallet is getting more and more full of them.
My Capital One Quicksilver, 3 AMEX cards, and my Paypal Debit card all have contactless built into them.
From experience, they're unheard of here besides "Apple Pay."
