That's a slight tweak of AA's standard wording, which is "if your boarding pass does not have a group number on it, please board with group 7." All AA boarding passes of course have group numbers, so this applies only to partner-printed boarding passes. In SEA, presumably most (nearly all) of the boarding passes without group numbers are connections from AS, so that seems like a very sensible local tweak.
